REVITALIZATION OF THE ANCIENT ESSENSE
Guangzhou Flower Pavilion Village has more than 600 years history. The moon shaped village was built against the mountain on its north, while facing south with ponds in the front. The current layout the village follows the traditional style in a combination of “Pond-Temple-House-Mountain”. After fully studying and understanding the historical and cultural background of the project, and a careful inventory of the current situation of the site, the design team determined the design objectives of "retaining the historical context and creating a new landmark of LingNan culture", striving to fill the ancient old lanes with new vitality, and make it a high quality characteristic humanistic commercial landmark destination full of memory, culture, and new lifestyle.
