Nanchang Time Square developed by Vanke, is located at one of Nanchang’s prime commercial districts and serves as a key anchor within the dense surrounding residential neighborhood. The interior design concept is inspired by the ancient Chinese poet from Tang Dynasty Li Bai’s famous poem “Lu Mountain Waterfall”, applying different aspects of the waterfall scenery described in the poetry in different spaces. The atrium space is designed to symbolize waterfall, bursting energy of tension and attraction. The horizontal curved lines and vertical traffic in the retail concourse express the flowing, changing, expending and smoothness of the waterfall, creating a dynamic and ever-changing spatial quality. The EGD continues the design concept of the “waterfall”, combining the brand positioning and theme color of the Vanke Mall VI to create a colorful and rich space experience.
