Situated along Mumbai's Eastern Expressway in the suburb of Malad, Alta Monte is a successful experimentation of density, rehabilitation and iconography in this city's frenetic environment. Developed as an SRA ((Slum Redevelopment Authority) scheme, the project envisaged a four-tower complex of ascending heights punctuated by four story sky garden voids, a signature trellis roof profile and an extensively landscaped parking podium with a luxuriously appointed 50,000 sf club. Each tower accommodates a variety of apartment typologies culminating in luxury four and five-bedroom units in the last and tallest tower reaching 240m.
