Having been through and still living with the worldwide epidemic, traditional workplace must transform. Work-from-home, work-while-travel, temp-work and outdoor workspace etc. all aimed as integrated collaborative work environment will become options for many companies. Workplace from a certain point, bears more as a platform for communication and collaboration than merely spaces for physical operations. It builds up more as an identity of an enterprise, enhancing experience with the space optimized, celebrating strengthened spirit, experiential, and social functions. Throughout the design of Shanghai VIVA Biotechnology Group Headquarter, 3MIX strives to diversify flexible layout of workplace functional space through creating organic circulation inside, defining spaces from open to semi-private and strict private, to provide free yet controllable relaxing and pleasant work environment. With a strong holistic design approch intergrating architectural, interiors, EGD, landscape and lighting design, the traditional style office with partitions is replaced by bring organic lifestyle scene into office space, which we believe is the leading design innovation for future workplace design of innovative high-tech enterprise headquarters such as VIVA. The project is completed and put into use in mid November 2022.
