MixC Hangzhou

AQUA

Completed in 2010, the MixC in Hangzhou was China Resource Land's second MixC project - a brand defining a new typology of malls and mixed-use developments in China's first and second tier cities. The development, in partnership with SHK Properties, explored new ideas about the quintessential mall, with experimental configurations, spatial perceptions, and iconic exteriors. The mall's facade and interiors present sinuous, overlapping layers inspired by the Qiantang river, defining a nucleus for extensive multi-use development.
