Located within Xian’s university district this Community Center defines a lively neighborhood nucleus with terraced retail concourses cascading from a landscaped central plaza. Multiple components (retail, F and B, educational and cultural amenities) are blended to create a seamless urban experience while respecting scale and context. The architectural language metaphorically alludes to European townscapes with materiality (brick and stone) and integrates modulated transparency and exuberant signage to create a vibrant Town Center
